ESCAPE TO THE COUNTRY
The BBC series 'Escape to the Country' (produced by Talkback Thames) is scheduled to feature LMV instructor Steve Lee during a 2009 episode in which a couple consider their move to the Lake District. Escape To The Country presenter Jules Hudson and prospective 'escapee' Tony Gaydon take a break from scrambling near Coniston with instructor Steve Lee.

Groups and individuals

We work with individuals, families and small groups, but have organised outdoor programmes for up to 50 people.

All equipment provided
All essential equipment is provided by ourselves. The only exception to this is regarding lightweight footwear required for some activities, which we ask you to provide yourself (e.g. trainers or old shoes for canoeing).

Gift vouchers
If you would like to present a friend or colleague with an activity session as a gift, we will supply a voucher which can be exchanged for an activity of their choice.

Transport
Our costs do not include travel to and from activity locations although this can be arranged - please just ask.

Age limits
From 6 to 106! Everyone is welcome, although our instructor will advise on appropriate challenges. Please note that under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Insurance and safety
We strive to ensure that all outdoor programmes are enjoyed in safety, and always ask that a brief questionnaire is completed to inform us of any relevant medical conditions prior to undertaking an activity. Public liability cover is to £5m.
